An American gentleman born from parents John A. Williams, (father) and Dorothy L. Williams, (mother) of Charleston, South Carolina on 14 October 1992, Johnathan A. Williams is an aviation professional, skilled sailor, sportsman and visionary. Since a child, he took particular interest in airplanes and boats. Though out his childhood and in to adulthood he stayed true to his areas of interest. As a young child he could often times be found crafting one of a kind planes and boats constructed of paper and anything else miscellaneous he could find around the house. In to his teens he took flight for the first time on a Boeing 747 to Munich, German as a high school exchange student in 2011. His spark for planes and flying was even further inspired days later by retired Luftwaffe pilot “Mike”. Mike flew German fighters and American F-16 Falcons. It was over the Alps of southeastern Bavaria that Johnathan was able to briefly take over the flight controls. It wasn’t long after that he learned to fly. He learned from one of the U.S. Navy’s very best, retired Captain and F-14 Tomcat pilot Stuart “Stew Beef” Bailey. As a Naval Midshipman at Hampton University he made his solo flight on 23 February 2013 at KCPK regional airport. The apex of Johnathan’s military aviation career was achieved through his service onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in 2017-2018 where he served as an aviation maintenance maintainer. He continues to aim for the stars and reach his milestones in aviation as he launches Navy Airlines Development Group which will be the premiere airline for veterans, service members and their families.
